Transfer Print
A thick silver outline with a solid black fill screenprint is seen above.
When a screenprint is pressed onto the fabric using heat, it can create a beautiful, crisp and clear image unachievable through traditional screen printing technology.
With a durability that is far superior to screen printing, vinyl transfer printing allows for a great cost-effective way to do a smaller batch of jobs. As there is no filmwork or screen design required for the printing, this allows you to easily create smaller batches or even one off garments for your design prototypes.

Simple white vinyl onto black fabric, sewn onto a navy blue camp chair.
There are two different types of vinyl:
-
Flex Vinyl - This has a smooth, untextured finish
-
Flock Vinly - This consists of a rougher, velvet like texture
The price is based on the amount of materials used along with how complex the design is. An A4 size print would be expected to fall between the $15-$20 range, whereas a small print could be as cheap as $2.50.
If you can supply artwork as line art or vector based files, there is no setup cost at all.
Colours:
There is an ever-growing number of colours available for this style. We offer reflective and high visibility colours, metallic silver and gold, as well as a matte or floss finish. These colours give a high opacity on most garment colours, and allow you the freedom to experiment.
Printing suggestions:
Cotton, polyester, or mixtures of these two are highly recommended, as these open fibres hold the print better and longer, giving you results that can last for years.
Other smooth fabrics, e.g. Leather, can be used but fabrics like nylon cannot. Vinyl transfer prints are ideal for hard to reach areas like caps, on seams, or other non-flat surfaces.
We can achieve exceptional results on everything from t-shirts, caps, jackets and vests to bags and far beyond.
